Collaborative Public Murals
These projects are an effective and flexible means of motivating a group of students to learn visual arts techniques while exploring educational themes, and empowering young participants by enabling them to physically impact their communal environment.
Students learn how to collectively negotiate decisions regarding content and artistic form, develop strategies to visually present their joint ideas, and collaborate in the realization of a large-scale project.
